The music bar "aaltra" enjoys the reputation of an insider tip and shares the Gründerzeit villa at the beginning of the Kaßberg with the Kulturhaus Arthur.
Founded in 2007, it has hosted over 500 concerts by national and international artists, both well-known and as yet undiscovered. The genre range extends from soul, rock, electronica, folk, singer & songwriter, pop, shoegazer, hip hop to music that is difficult to classify.
But dance evenings, poetry slams, pub quizzes, talk shows, etc. also find a venue here. Some formats are based on close cooperation with other organizers and cultural institutions such as Arthur e.V. or Atomino e.V..
In the summer months, a beer garden is operated on the open-air grounds under large deciduous trees with a separate bar, and an open-air stage can also be used.
