Die flüchtige Schönheit Tokyos wird in der neuen Fotoausstellung UKIYO: Stille Momente im
pulsierenden Tokyo durch beeindruckende Fotografien hervorgehoben. Die Ausstellung eröffnet
am 20. Oktober 2023 in der Galerie Nichts im Kulturhaus Arthur. Der Begriff "Ukiyo" beschreibt die
"fließende Welt" und verkörpert das Vergängliche und die Tiefe des Lebens – ein Leitmotiv dieser
Ausstellung.
Die Fotografin Susann Bargas Gómez präsentiert einen frischen und intimen Blick auf die Mega-
Metropole Tokyo. Mit ihren Aufnahmen fängt sie die stillen Momente inmitten des hektischen
Alltags ein. Diese Fotos sind nicht nur visuell beeindruckend, sondern erzählen auch von einer
Zeit des persönlichen Wandels und der Neuentdeckung während ihres Künstleraufenthalts im
November 2022.

The fleeting beauty of Tokyo is highlighted in the new photography exhibition UKIYO: Quiet Moments in
Vibrant Tokyo highlighted through stunning photographs. The exhibition opens
October 20, 2023 at the Nothing Gallery in the Arthur House of Culture. The term "ukiyo" describes the
"flowing world" and embodies the ephemeral and the depth of life - a leitmotif of this
exhibition.
Photographer Susann Bargas Gómez presents a fresh and intimate view of the mega-
metropolis of Tokyo. With her photographs, she captures the quiet moments in the midst of the hectic
everyday life. These photographs are not only visually impressive, but also tell of a time of personal
time of personal change and rediscovery during her artist residency in
November 2022.
