Wir laden zu einem bunten Programm aus Poetry und Musik in den schönen Garten des Arthur e.V.: Mit dabei sind Henrik Szanto und Benjamin Pollak, die frische Texte zum Besten geben werden. Henrik Szanto ist halb Ungar, halb Finne und lebt als Schriftsteller, Spoken Word-Künstler und
Moderator in Hannover. Szanto ist mehrfacher Poetry-Slam-Meister in den Kategorien Einzel und Team und bespielt die Bühnen des gesamtdeutsch-sprachigen Raums. Die Kernthemen seiner Arbeit sind Mehrsprachigkeit und kulturelle Vielfalt.
Der 23-jährige Benjamin Poliak steht seit über sieben Jahren regelmäßig auf Literaturbühnen in Deutschland, Luxemburg, Österreich, Schweiz und Belgien. 2016 und 2017 wurde er zweimal hintereinander deutschsprachiger U20-Meister im Poetry Slam, 2022 zusätzlich NRW-Meister. Er schreibt über alles, was ihn bewegt: Musik, Veganismus, Demokratie oder Stern-
früchte.
Ausklingen lassen möchten wir den Abend mit frischer Musik aus
Chemnitz. Mit der Band Alocasia ist der lokalen Musikszene ein neuer, verheißungvoller Spross entsprungen: Das vierköpfige Kollektiv hat im verspielten, sonnenlichten Indie seine musikalische Spielwiese gefunden und bereits drei Singles veröffentlicht. Alocasia, das sind Hannah Seifert (voc),
Daniel Lermann (guit), Gideon Liebmann (drums) und Junes Ssemmoudi
(keys).
Weil die Musiker:innen verschiedensten Klangwelten entstammen, ist ihr
Proberaum ein von Kollisionen geprägter Ort: Hier treffen The Black Keys
auf Tom Misch, Bob Marley auf Jorja Smith.

and presenter in Hanover. Szanto is a multiple poetry slam champion in the individual and team categories and performs on stages throughout the German-speaking world. The core themes of his work are multilingualism and cultural diversity.
The 23-year-old Benjamin Poliak has been performing regularly on literary stages in Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium for over seven years. In 2016 and 2017, he became the German-speaking U20 poetry slam champion twice in a row, and in 2022 he also became the NRW champion. He writes about everything that moves him: music, veganism, democracy or star fruits.
